They were absolutely no help. The device refused to charge a few months ago and I contacted Wi-Gear. Beware - this product is not likely to last too much longer than the warranty. Received my iMuffs for Xmas 2007. Worked great for the next 2 years although the Ipod adapter was a little awkward at times. The response I received leads to believe that they were fairly familiar with my complaint and simply don't care.
No more am I ripping my headphones off my head because my hand got caught in the wire. I love being able to control my music from the headphones (fast forward, replay, sound level) and I love being able to press a button on the headphone to pause my music if I'm talking to someone. They aren't quite as good as my noise cancelling headphones, but they do a pretty good job. I work out at the gym and was sick and tired of wires getting in the way. I will never go back to wired headphones. The best part of all is that there are no wires to get tangled up in.
I plan to purchase at least one more set of these to have as an extra set. I purchased these bluetooth headphones when I got my new 2nd Generation iPod. These headphones are great. The sound quality is pretty good too.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Mind you this was another brand new pair. Seems to me I should be able to return something as many times as I like since they're not give quality product to keep. power switch stops working while its sitting on the charger. I loved them at the time so much that I wanted another pair and figured it was just a fluke.
I have had enough with these people and there overpriced crap they peddle off on us. Since I couldn't return them they offered to sell me another pair at a discounted price to help me with my problem. Well, I returned them and got a new pair and they said that my power switch had gone bad and replaced the unit. Okay, I bought these headphones a few years ago and they broke in about 6 months. Then about 7 months later they broke again, I called to return them again and they said I could not return them a second time.
So here it is six months later and once again, BAM.
out of sight product, just what i have wanted to have the freedom of my ipod listening.
All in all I think it is easier to put up with the cord and have you unit last longer than it is to fool around with these especially at the cost. I am constantly chargeing my Ipod. I am sending them back now. Mine get soaked at the gym but so far customer service has not said a work about it. Then the headset would not take a charge.
they are good to deal with but you have the shipping costs and the time lag to deal with. The unit sounds good when working and the cordless feature is great for the gym but the battery life on the Ipod is cut to about 3 hours maximum with this unit. I returned them and they sent me a new unit. I bought this product and it worked well for a month or so. Two months later the new unit will not take a charge.
I have read other reviews about moisture on the headset.
